Hello "Malcz86":
If you go thru "Media Center Set-up" you can change the guide downloads
to "manual" and only download them when you can spare your internet
connection for that purpose. I have done this so I can immediately use my
56k internet connection to check e-mail or pay a bill, etc. I hate it when
automatic settings take over my internet access!
