Wow, the weirdest thing....I checked windows update (as I've been doing once
daily to see if SP1 has been offered yet [no cigar]) and looked at my update
history and found that two updates have downloaded and installed without my
knowledge. I checked my settings again just to be sure and found the
settings still set to "download, but let me choose whether to install." How
did those two updates just miraculously install and I didn't do it??? So, I
went one further and changed the setting to "notify me when their are new
updates, but let me decide to download & update." I think it's haunted.

with this vista,they got so much spy crap built in..it owns you and your
computer..it does what it wants to do..you can try and turn everything
off.but they will get in.your computer..they know everything that you are
doing and looking at..

i got sp1 a week or so ago..maybe two weeks..they got vista set up to
spy..you cant stop them.you can try and turn everything off.but they going to
get in and spy

They are probably new "definitions" for Windows Defender which by default
automatically downloads and installs. You can disable it in WD but I
wouldn't recommend doing so.
