Sound contols on acer asprie 5630

After instaling vista, the sound controls on my laptop is not working. this
was working before when i had xp media centre edition on. By the way it was a
complete installation i did ad not an upgrade.

You probably need Vista-Edition drivers.

Quite often you have to install new drivers for sound when you install a
new OS. See if there are Vista Sound Drivers for your laptop you can
download.
