Default Slow DVD Read After SP1

Hi All,

I installed SP1 yesterday without any problems but now when I try to copy a
DVD, either of my DVD drives do not spin up to top speed (you can not even
hear them anymore) and I get horrible read rates (.5x). Before I installed
SP1 my drives worked fine. I checked and they are set to DMA and I also
tried uninstalling the IDE controller they were on, but nothing has helped.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kibosh

just a guess but sp1 may have trashed your jmicon driver.
since there is no way of knowing what board you are running.

I have an Intel 975XBX. I have 2 DVD drives, one is HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM
GSA-H22N and the other is TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D162C ATA Device. They both
have incredibly slow read rates all of a sudden.
