Sidebar not working properly

First off... the sidebar (the thing that holds all teh desktop gadgets in
Vista) works fine when I log on with my personal (admin rights) account.

When my girlfriend logs on (using a limited account, or whatever it's called
in Vista), the sidebar appears, but nothing displays properly. gadgets are
either broken or completely blank, even though mousing over the bar displays
the names of various items.
