In Windows XP, I could choose Start | Search | All Files and Folders, and
then search for *.doc, *.pst, or something like that to find all files with
a specific file name extension. Vista doesn't seem to work like that.
In Vista, I can search for *.doc and that seems to work okay. But, when I
try to search for *.pst, Vista finds no files, though there are files with
that extension on my hard drive.
You cannot find files when you search a Windows Vista-based computer even though the files exist on the computer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932989
