Screen goes black for 5 seconds ...

For the last 3 or 4 days I've noticed that out of the blue my display
goes black for 5 seconds or so, then comes back on again.

It isn't the monitor cutting out because when you turn it on the monitor
comes up with the input selection for a couple of seconds, so if it was
a monitor power issue it would say "Digital Display" when it came back on.

...... any ideas what could be doing this? It's not a major issue but
I'm afraid it'll go black and then not come back on again :-)

I'm running Vista Home Premium, 4 GIG ram ... spec's probably aren't too
important so I won't list everything.

Isn't there anything you can tweak at the VGA driver? (Just an idea)
