Scheduled recording problem

Hi, i have a sony vaio xl301 with windows vista home premium.
Yesterday a sheduled recording encountered in a problem "unable to
redord due no signl on channel 6". Big problem!!!!! ?ive checked again
the channel 6 and it seems ok! Does someone knows tips to avoid this
issue?!
