Default Is it safe?

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is safe to delete the Public folder in Vista Home
Basic. It contains images etc that I don't need nor plan on using.

Hi NiC,

I would not delete the Public folders. These are the default folders
used with your username folders. It will cause problems if you deleted
them. You can however delete the contents of these folders like you do
in your username folders. It would be safe to delete the Sample folders
inside of them.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

I certainly would not since it is often used for sharing files if the need
does arrive or other users on the computer might be using it, I would simply
ignore since its not really in the users way.

Delete the images, not the folder.

Thankyou for that. I'm glad I asked first before doing it!
