Default Replacing motherboard

I am replacing only motherboard (945P to P965) in order to add second video
card.
Do I need to reinstall Vista or only call MS to get new auth?

It's not an either/or issue. You'll probably need to run a startup repair
from the Vista DVD. You might even need to run it a couple of time.
Hopefully that will do it without needing to reinstall. The new motherboard
might trigger activation, in which case you'll probably have to do the phone
activation.

Info on running startup repair is in this article.
A Stop error occurs, or the computer stops responding when you try to start
Windows Vista
