Default Random Crash

Hello, apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but searching has not
revealed anything.

In the last few days my PC has crashed very regularly (like every 5 or 10
minutes) and from what I can tell, it appears to be something to do with
middle clicking and particularly in any internet browser. I had a similar
problem when I installed an update that would enable screensavers, something
like "HID Filter", can't be sure. I uninstalled this and the problem went
away. Are there any other updates that may cause the same clash? Any idea on
it's code so I can remove it if I've accidently reinstalled? And does anyone
have a solution for this if not?

Anyway my internet is presently behaving due to avoiding the middle button
which is obviously an inconvenience but would suggest that is the root. Cheers
