Photo Slide Show Screen Saver Doesn't Come On

I want to use one to use personal photographs as my screensaver. I've
directed it to the desired folder to open after 10 minutes and it doesn't
start. The pictures show just fine in the preview it just won't activate
and come on at all. I've changed it to 1 minute and nothing. Any ideas of
what the problem is? TIA

Do other screensavers work, or is it just the Photos screensaver that's not
cooperating?

Dean and Sarah.....I too am having the same problem. I don't see a
reply from Sarah so I'm hoping you can help me Dean. Yes, it happens
with any screen saver, all the standard ones that came with the laptop.
I've checked for viruses, defraged, cleaned everything there is to
clean, I'm stumped! Any ideas??
