Default Origin of the vista product

Hi, I have bought windows vista ultimate and the origin of it is Ireland.
Since my laptop was manufactured in the UK will this affect the working of
the product? I assumed it would work ok but someone brought the subject up
and I'd thought I'd check before I open the package up!

No problem. The software was just manufactured
at a Microsoft approved facility in Ireland.

Thanks very much for the reply. I just wanted to be 100% sure!:-)

Pete, no, not an April's fool, I'm just a student on a budget and wanting to
make sure I haven't wasted my savings on a product I wouldn't be able to use.

I have a ThinkPad that was made in Scotland, but it is from 1994.
