Default New Motherboard

Which motherboard is better for performance. The intel P35 chipset or
Q35. I've read the specs on both at intel and both seem the same.

Anyone got any suggestions?

It will be running x64 ultimate.

In overall system performance the motherboard chipset makes little
difference to performance.
It is far more important to make sure you have the correct drivers for the
one you choose.

The main differences appear to be the P35 supports the Extreme line of CPU's
and DDR3.
