This is most probably due to an older DVD drive that cannot view
multisesssion discs rather than anything to do with Nero. It's a hardware
issue. I cannot view multisession discs on an older DVD-ROM drive that I
have in one of my machines.

Maybe I should have mentioned that this is on the same machine, a Vaio
laptop.
It ran XP where the dvd's were initially created.
Then "upgraded" to Vista using a clean install where the dvd's were added to
in Nero 7.
It was then upgraded back to XP where a Acronis image was restored & I
noticed the problem yesterday when I 1st went to add a session to the discs.
One disc I can understand maybe a bad burn, but both discs?
I use quality discs & can't remember the last time I had a bad burn.
and all files are viewable, executeable & able to be drag & dropped in
Explorer.

Most likely Nero 7 changed something with multi-session burning. Never
assume older versions of a program can read the newer's output.

Something in the help files would have been good then, or a warning when
Nero 1st detected that it was adding a nth session to a multi session disc
created with an earlier version.
But, v7 took away the abiity for me to read the v6 created sessions also.
It isn't just a case of not being able to read the v7 created session in v6.
