Default Need Help! "Doesn't support fullscreen" error!!

I am trying to install "The 7th Guest" on my new computer, but when it
checks the video card, a pop up says that it does not support
fullscreen mode. I have the option to close or ignore.

I'm NOT a code writer, and really no nothing of code. If anyone can
help me, I would appreciate it. I would love to still be able to play
my game!!!!!!

TIA...and sorry if this was posted before.

Windows Vista does not support old DOS-mode games well - or at all, really.
You'll probably need to run it on an XP computer or on an XP Virtual PC
using Virtual PC. The game won't run under Vista.

what is "virtual pc" and how do you use it? can I run it on Vista? if
all else fails, I can fix my desktop pc and run it on XP there.
