I can't find the "my computer" icon on my desktop or anywhere else? Can

There's a "Computer" icon on the Start Menu and one that can be put on the
desktop under customization, but no "MY Computer" icon exists any longer.

Hello,

do you find an entry in the Start menu? It's called "Computer" - right-click
it, and choose "Show on Desktop".

Hope this helps.
Greetings,

On Vista it is just called "Computer".

You can add it to your Desktop by going to Control Panel->Appearance and
Personalization->Personalization->Change Desktop Icons.

Also, if Computer isn't on your Start Menu, you can add it to your Start
Menu by going to Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization->Taskbar
and Start Menu. Click on the Start Menu tab, then click the
"Customize..." button. You can choose to display Computer as a link or menu.
