Default Media Player with Vista

What is with the brutal Windows Media Player format now??? What happened to
the nice simple playlists, drag and drop approach. I can't even play a CD
on it??

Also..what is with the CD covers? I do not want any of that crap. Is there
a way to get rid of that?

I am not to impressed with Vista so far. I miss my 2000....big time!!!!!!

Live with it as it's much ado about nothing.

Well, you do know that you can go back to Win 2k even XP or cross over to
Linux. Can you make up your mind here soon? However, you can put Vista into
"classic* views too.

Let me get you some tissues for your issues.

heh heh. Hey man. It is my 2nd day of using this after so long with 2000.
Finding it hard to adjust is all.

I already have the claasic views up. Wish I could do it with Media Player.

You're just looking at the icing. Under the hood, Win 2K nor XP can touch
Vista.

Why can't you play a CD? Insert a CD into the system, you should see an
AutoPlay option to play it in the player. Or you can go to the player's Rip
pane at any time, or select the CD within the player's library.

What context are you trying to not see the CD cover in? Which pane view are
you in?

Drag and drop should work fine. I'm not sure what you're comparing the
player to - the playlist format hasn't changed of late. =)
