Default media player not adding files to library

Hi all,
I am writing this to both groups because one user should
know why this is so and possibly how to remedy this.
In Vista business, Media Player 11 will not scan the media
folders/drives that are entered into the player setup at the
'monitor folders'. I also have (had) Winamp 5.33 installed
and had no trouble with it. The other
managers/librarians/organizers had no problems either.
I want to get these resolved before transferring back to
Vista. (I am currently on XP pro sp2).

In Romans 1 there are qualities of Unregenerate man listed
which describe him in the last days.
Is your quality found on this list??

Default RE: media player not adding files to library

This could happen if you e.g. changed the location of the standard folders
after you set up WMP - then WMP would still have the old path (If you
actually use the "Music"-Personal Folder for your library root). Or have you
tried different locations for your files, maybe it's something about folder
permissions? Try some of the standard folders in your User directory since
folder permissions should be OK there.
