Default Media Player 11 and Media Center DVD Freezes

Whenever I play a DVD or any type of video on Media Player or using Media
Center the video always does this freeze frame. The audio and program
continues to run by the picture freezes like the disc is scratched. The
problem gets worst if I put it on full screen...sometimes it is so bad I
can't watch a dvd at all. The only time it doesn't do it is when I have the
screen as 50% but then screen is super tiny! Can anyone help me please?

What type of video card do you have in the system? Have you updated the
device drivers for that video card? Are you running multiple programs while
Media Player or MCE is running?

Could you also give us your computer specs to help us better diagnose the
problem?

I'm not sure where to go to find what kind of video card I have. I also keep
my computer updated, along with any device drivers when available and no I
don't have multiple programs running when I am watching a dvd.

I have an Acer Aspire 5100, Windows Vista Home Premium.
