Default A major security breach in Vista?

I have 3 PCs in my home each running XP Pro SP2, connected through a
wireless AP and a router and belonging to the same workgroup. Now I have
added a brand new fourth PC with Windows Vista Ultimate and joined the same
workgroup.

If, on the Vista machine, and while logged as standard user, I type
\\<PCNAME>\C$ in the address bar of the Windows Explorer, I get immediate
and complete access to any of the other 3 machines, and am able to freely
browse to any folder and handle (read, modify, delete) ANY file. If I want
to do the same from a XP machine, I am required to supply a proper admin
password for that machine before proceeding.

It would appear that something is wrong in Vista. Yes or yes?

Just tried it on my Vista box and it asked for my admin password, same
as my XP boxes do. You could try running Sysinternals ShareEnum to check
for security problems on your network shares.

Go into the control panel/network & sharing center and check what is
password protected, private or public, etc.
Access is all controlled from there.

False alarm. Just discovered the reason: My standard Vista user has the same
user name and password as the admin user on XP machines.
Sorry for the post and thank you all for helping.
