Do you have a user logon screen?
Ease of Access can be done there, maybe that overrides?

Julian - Maybe you can help me too. I am using the Help feature to set the
magnifier zoom to larger print and have it follow key strokes. Help says to
open magnifier & click on selection for what I want to do. When I open
magnifier, there are no selections shown. Any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know...
When I go...
Start Menu >
Help & Support >
Search "magnifier" >
1. Click to open Magnifier >
I get a Magnifier Window with several check boxes.
I never asked magnifier to start up but it mysteriously appeares on it's own.
It is almost as large as my screen and enters without warning. It disrupts
what I am doing. I can only get to the start menu and type in magnifier but
that does not always work. Strange things pop up until I have to totally
turn off my computer with a hot shut down which does not always get rid of it.
Am I accidently bumping something to cause it to come up? What command does
it use? Is there a command to dock magnifier? Totally lost and frustrated
with VISTA!!!
