Done that and can't use the mouse. It is on and flashing Red underneath. In
fact it flashes most of the time although I have not been able to use it...

I have not received an email response from Logitech that I can decipher???

I'm thinking there might be some mention of this in the Microsoft Vista
Knowledge Base but I cannot remember how to get into it to check?

My computer is a Gateway ONE (All-in-One) computer that ships with a
wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is the original Gateway wireless
keyboard and works fine. The mouse I am attempting to use is a Logitech
wireless mouse and seem to get it to sync up with what should be an
internal/built-in receiver.

I'm thinking because the mouse is not a Gateway mouse it isn't syncing
(probably due to different frequencies)? Do not know how to change them to
match or even if that is possible?

I doubt you'll be able to get them to work together. They are almost surely
on different frequencies and that's something that can only be fixed by
modifying the hardware. Put the receiver that came with the Logitech mouse
into an available USB port and you should be all set.

I have a Gateway desktop with a Gateway keyboard. I hated the Gateway
bouse and bought a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000. Plugged into
the USB port and it works fine. Light is blue and does not flash.
