Default List of Vista 32 bit logo compliant apps? Is Sun Java compliant?

I work for a large network broadcasting company in new york.

We have a new CIO who has issued a directive that all (or most) apps
should have earned the Microsoft 32 bit logo compliant seal.

There was a whole list of apps when XP was around, but we are all
upgraded to Vista Business.

He says:

"The the Microsoft 32 bit logo compliant seal on the box assures
people and companies that the programmers have followed Microsoft
standards when designing their apps.

Using compliant apps that follow standards makes for a crash free
environment."

Where did they move the list to? I can only find a hardware list, not
a software list.

Is Sun Java logo compliant? I cant find anything on Sun's website that
shows that they are. Sun is notorious for going against Microsoft
standards.

Many of MS's competitors follow standards, Symantec, Adobe, Autodesk,
etc

Thanks, Rich

The Windows Vista Compatibility Center lists compatibility details for
thousands of apps and individual versions. You can select "Certified for
Windows Vista" in the advanced search options, or when you do a search from
the main page, on the left hand side under "Select a results filter". When
you select specific versions, more details are provided. You can also
search on 32-bit vs 64-bit.

Hope this helps.
