Is it possible to completely revert Vista to an XP type look? Not just the
way the windows look, and the colors, but also the layout (eg: getting rid
of how the start menu opens inside itself, and how right clicking the
desktop for desktop backgrounds/screensaver/power options/themes/settings
brings up Personalize instead of Properties)

Not 100% but you can use products like Star Dock Object Desktop to achieve
some parity with the Windows XP look. But its not gonna be just like Windows
XP since Vista is mandatory with different features and its look and feel.
