laptop external mouse

Hello,

I have a laptop with with I use an external mouse via a USB bus.

Sometimes (perhaps once a week) when I start up, the USB mouse does not
work (the touchpad works ok) , and I have to unplug it & then plug it in
again , after which it works OK.

Antbody know why this happens?

Don't know, but have you tried looking for updated drivers for your mouse?
