I run Vista Home Premium and have a Theater pro 550 tuner. I can watch AND
record tv for a week and then all of a sudden I get the No TV Signal message.
This will last a few days and then all of a sudden everything is fine again.
I check all wiring and connections and No updates done no software or
hardware added...It just decides there is no signal then eventually changes
it's mind..
I have the cable signal going to my VCR and from there to the tuner.
Whooooo!!!! I unplugged my monitor, disconnect my internet
cable.......plugged both back in AND now I have a tv signal and can
record.......Any ideas what THAT is all about?

Well!!! Now I'm stumped. If I unplug my monitor and internet cable then plug
them both back in the tv and recording work fine ONE TIME only. Then I have
to unplug again......Whooo Boy!!

After months of getting no, or intermittent tv tuner signals with a summer
break to say the hell with it and go boating instead...I believe I found the
problem!!
It seams the cable connections from my VCR to the tuner and to the remote
camera come loose and prevent the signal. I have now, for two weeks so far.
simply removed and then re-inserted the cables after getting a "no
signal"message. So far it has solved the problem each time.
