Forgive my ignorance, I can't find out how to include someone's message
or quote When I make a reply. I went over the tutorials and the FAQ . I
couldn't find what I need. PLease tell me how to ? Thank you.
Check Tools - Options - Send - CHECK Include Message in Reply - if using
Outlook Express.... should be similar in all programs.

Are you using the web interface at www.vistax64.com to access the
forums and discussion groups?
When reading a post, you'll notice several buttons - At the top of all
the thread is a single button, labeled "Post Reply". Clicking this
button will allow you to post a new, empty, reply to the thread you are
currently reading.
At the bottom of each post, there are 4 buttons - EDIT, QUOTE,
MULTIQUOTE and QUICK REPLY:
- Use EDIT to make changes to your own most recent posts, such as
fixing spelling errors and such.
- Use QUOTE to post a reply to a particular post, while automatically
including a quoted copy of the post your are replying to.
- I've never used MULTIQUOTE or QUICK REPLY, so I can't give 100%
details on how they work. What you can also do, when posting to either new or existing threads, is
copy and past text into your post, select it, and then use the "Wrap
QUOTE Tags around the selected text" icon on the editor. It looks like a
little yellow speech bubble - 3145. (It's just under
the REDO icon)
Highlight what you want to copy with your cursor. Once selected
Hit Ctrl + C
Place your cursor where you want it to be copied to, then hit Crtl + V

Peter, I'm sorry. I'm dumber than I thought. Please tell me step by step,
such as compose the reply first, then click Quote? I tried that, didn't
work. Bear with me, show me again, please.

You need to understand that you are NOT accessing a "forum" at Vistax64, you
are actually posting to Usenet.(For a definition of Usenet go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet)
You would be FAR better off accessing these news groups directly, using the
built-in news reader in Vista.
