Default IE7 Vista OWA problem

I have a brand new install of Vista. I am using IE7 (obviously) for Outlook
web access (OWA). I can read my emails. Howerver, when I use new email, it
displays X in the message area. Does anyone has clue what needs to be done.

Thanks

Your Exchange server admin needs to update the server with the latest
updates, that will fix the problem.

In the mean time, you can use the basic interface successfully.

Specifically, this patch needs to be applied:

you can also use Firefox. The interface, specifically the layout, isn't as
good but it all works.

When I tried to run this patch I received an "Extraction Failed" message that
stated "The requested operation requires elevation." That was followed by a
Program Compatability Assistant error message that stated "Windows detected
that this program did not run correctly." I then tried to run the file as an
administrator and got a Set Up error that stated "Not enough storage is
available to process this command."

Help! I'm running Vista Ultimate on a brand new $2500 HP Pavillion. Web
Outlook worked better for me on my old peice of crap Compaq running Windows
2000.

Hi Rebekah,

It's not you that applies that patch on your machine, it's the network admin
that handles the OWA server. It's the server that needs to be patched, it's
not up to date.
