Default I.E and WMV videos

Hi Folks
Am running Vista Premium and am finding that I.E 7 refuses to play these
videos on this particular site, :

http://uk.entertainment.yahoo.com/of...nts/index.html

I get a screen another I.E page telling me that:

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information"

Blah Blah etc etc , I have a laptop running the same OS and that plays them
ok, is it a case of I.E 7 not calling up WMP and displaying its "annoyance"
;-) , how do you "tell" I.E 7 to call WMP ..

Apologies if this has been covered before but I have only just joined the
group..

Kind Regards

Alan

Do you have other players on the system? It tentatively sounds like a third
party player might have munged the file associations. Resetting the file
association might help here.

Speaking for myself only.
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
