Default I can't access Hotmail or Myspace..........I'm not computer savvy!

Like the sign says.........I can't access these site. I've had the laptop
since Nov1/07 and the trouble started about a month ago. I get tech emails
back from microsoft, but they just sent me here. Can anyone help in common
layman terms? I'm not very computer literate.......Oh, and I can access
these sites on anybody else's computer..........
thanks!

Have you cleared your cookies? (IE, Tools menu, "Delete Browsing History".)
I suggest you try deleting files and cookies, then try the log on to check
mail.

Have you asked your parents nicely to take off the block on those sites?

Since you are logged onto the Communities site, and I assume you are using
the same ID/Pass for that and Hotmail, it's not your passport at fault.
(There should be a 'sign out' icon at the top of this page)
You may have some temporary problem in your ISP's path to hotmail. You can
test that at the command prompt with the command :
TRACERT www.hotmail.com

and

PING www.hotmail.com

If it fails, you have a connection problem, and only hotmail or your ISP
might fix that.
