Default HP PhotoSmart Essential v2.5 and HP PhotoSmart C6280 All-in-One

I am running a HP Computer with Vista Home Premium, 32 -bit. I just bought
and installed the CD that came with the computer. It installed the printer
software and HP PhotoSmart Essential v2.5. When I went into and was looking
around I must of done something BAD. I was clicking around and then exited.
When I went back into it again, the start page, it showed I had 24,000
pictures in the library on the library button. I would click onto the button
to take me into the program but it would freeze up. I'm assuming because of
the amount of pictures. One time I did get into it by that time it was
showing 27,000 pictures in the library. I managed to get to a screen where
there was three tabs in the upper left corner. It looked like a hierarchy of
my C:\ drive. I only have approximately 800 pictures in my Windows Gallery
program. Do you think the program was adding all the pictures and icons from
my C:\ drive? I've went to HP support and they were sending me solutions for
the problem. Nothing seems to work. I uninstalled HP PhotoSmart Essential
v2.5 software. Should maybe I go back in Restore Point and go back before
that date of the first install and do that. And then download program of of
HP website and install again? Thanks
