Default How to speed up mouse?

Does anyone know if any way to speed up the mouse past what Vista's
mouse control panel allows? I always used Kensington's MouseWorks
which allowed this, besides programming all the buttons, but in their
infinitely wisdom are not updating MW for Vista. It's driving me
nuts how much slower the mouse is without it.

Thanks.
