Connect the speaker out port of one sound card to the line in port of another
sound card, and record.

Most sound cards have a "Record what you hear" setting or some vareity of
it. Check your documentation.
I've use Plato DVD To MP3 in the past, there are others. Check http://www.videohelp.com search "DVD to MP3"
