Default Hibernate....so slow. Is this normal?

I have Vista Ultimate 32 clean installed and works flawlessly.

Waking the PC from Hibernate mode takes 49 seconds. Cold starting the same
PC takes 52 seconds. I've been consistently getting these times.

On the same PC, when I had XP installed instead of Vista, it used to take
under 20 seconds to wake from Hibernate.

Why is it so slow in Vista? Does anyone else use Hibernate Mode and have
noticed this?

I have checked to see if there are any hardware/driver conflicts but none
were found. Everything seems ok.

And I tried using the new Sleep mode instead but I always lose sound when I
wake from Sleep mode, I don't have this issue in Hibernate.
