Default hibernate doesnt shut down PC

Hello, I have been using the hibernate fetcher for some time and just
recently it’s not shutting down the PC when pressed. I press the
start-->hibernate button and my PC screen goes blank or blue "As it always
did" and shuts off after a minute and my PC just keeps running. I haven’t
installed any new programs and I don’t think there is anything running in the
background. I’m lost as to why just recently this is happening. Could it be a
recent update that caused this and there is a hot fix? I did the cmd promt to
make sure it was set to on ect. Thanks!
