Default Help with video drivers!!

Hi all, my HP dv2419us notebook freezes completely when i watch any type
of video with any type of player. My driver for the Nvidia Geforce go
6150 isn't the most recent one and I want to know how to update it. I
already downloaded the newest version but whenever I try to install it
and restart my computer, the driver didn't install. So I want to
uninstall my current driver first and then install the new one, problem
is, I don't know how to do that. Can someone tell me how to do this?

You have the most recent driver Downloaded. What you do is, click Start >
type Device Manager > open it > expand 'Display Adapter' > right click the
currently installed driver > click Update Driver > a Driver wizard will then
appear, point to where the driver is located locally and follow the
installation instructions.

If the problem persist, its best you contact HP Support about issue if your
system is still under warranty.

Control Panel - Programs and Features - there should be a list of installed
programs - right click on Nvidia Drivers and uninstall

Also my notebook has a Nvida chipset i think it's called nForce, I
guess thats the motherboard, so if in uninstall nvidia drivers, will
that uninstall the motherboard drivers also?

The NVidia site has a beta utility that can check for chipset and video
drivers. Let is download both and then uninstall previous versions
first. You should stop your antivirus and reboot between steps to make
sure nothing else interferes.
