vista and i'm tired of it...
Please can someone help me that i get my xp back and how can i do it...
thanks for you help
You need to set the bios settings to boot from the CD prior to booting from
the hard drive. You will also need either a bootable Windows XP CD (not an
upgrade version but a full install version of Windows XP) or the recovery
disks supplied by the computer manufacturer.
Insert the CD. When you get to the window where you choose the install
partition you have to delete the partition. Then Create/Format a new
partition. The install will continue with prompts. Answer the questions as
necessary.
The manufacturers recovery CD's may make the delete/create/format partition
un-necessary.

Mary, in an earlier response to a similar question, said:
Be sure the copy of xp is brand new or was previously installed on the
same computer before vista. You can't use an operating system disk key on a
diff computer. Good instructions: http://www.djdenham.com/Install%20Pr...es.htm#Install
I don't know for a fact that it will help you save everything you have
in Vista, since it starts out with backup everything you want on the
C drive, but I didn't read the whole thing. Anyway, it's worth your
time to look at it, if you don't get a better response than mine.

If it is in fact a recovery disc provided by the manufacturer be aware
that it will destroy all data currently on the drive. Any files or info
you would like to keep should be backed up and tested for a restore
before you start.
