Default Help & Support

Hi all,

When I click the Help & Support option in Vista (Ultimate); it pops up three
windows:

1, An empty window entitled "Windows Help and Support"
2, A dialogue entitled "0% of from help Completed" (within the dialogue it
says "Getting File Information: / from help"
3, A message: "Internet Explorer cannot download / from help" "Internet
Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is
either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later"

Any ideas anyone?

Rich

Rich,

Dreamweaver installed, by chance? If so, see the following TechNote from Adobe:

Vista help system stops working when Dreamweaver is the default XML editor:

I am kind of having a similar problem. When I open the help and support it
works but eith broken-looking dialog window. You can see the screenshot from
this url:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...HelpDialog.jpg

I had the same problem DW8 and fixed it by reg. file, now I have DW CS3 the
newest one and reg. fixing doesn't fix this problem.
