Default Group Policy Service

Hello everybody,
I would ask you a question about the service written in the subject.
Some weeks ago i bought a new laptop with Vista Home Premium OS.
After a couple of minutes from the start-up, Windows shows me a warning
because it can't start the service.
On Event Viewer the following error is logged (translated from italian to
english):
"Certificates Services Client: unable to register the group policy
notification. Error code: 2147944153".
I tried to find a solution on internet, without any result.
I also tried to disable the service, but the start-up configuration of the
service are inhibited.
This problem causes a slow start-up of my pc.
Could you help me?
Thank you in advance.

Andrea.

Default RE: Group Policy Service

I tried to restore the operating system, with success: now the warning isn't
shown anymore and the Group Policy service correctly starts.
Probably the first installation of the SO hasn't brought to a successful
conclusion.
Bye.
