Fresh install of vista fails to load or collapses

I installed MCE 2005 on a new computer (Intel e8400, 2 gig ddr2) and
then from mce installed a clean copy of vista to another partition on
my HD.

It loaded vista 3 or 4 times but then stopped and restarts before the
well come screen. so i formatted the partition, and tried to install
again, still the same

Does any one have a clue what can it be?
