Default File Edit View etc on top toolbar...

....I seem somehow to have turned this ON ... so old fashioned looking.... on
the top of all my screens (Explorer, Control Panel etc).

How can I GET RID of this toolbar please?

forgot to mention...tapping the ALT key isn't working!

Open Windows Explorer>Organize>Layout, uncheck Menu Bar.

You can go to Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab and deselect Always show
menus (second item down).
