Is WiFi faster then Dial-up?

Well wifi can be slow or fast and it depends on the internet connection it
is transmiting.

Wifi as a standard is far more faster than dialup, around 10-56 Mbps...
BUT that does not mean you cannot share a dialup connection (with windows
ICS) via a wireless network adaptor, in this case the internet connection
via wireless will be as fast as dialup.

Yes, but you are trying to compare a local WLAN connection with a WAN
connection - two different things.

Most of the time. It depends on the load on the WiFi and how the WiFi
is connected and the speed and capacity of the WiFi.
