DreamScene keeps computer from suspend or hibernate

When I use dreamscene my computer won't go to sleep. The only way I can get
it to go blank is to use a blank screensaver and the computer stays on all
the time.
Is there a way to fix this? Is it a bug? Is there an update for this?
I like the dreamscene but I need for my computer to sleep or suspend
activity at night.
Thanks for any help.
