Default Download files that are not in the download folder

Hello everyone!

Well first of all let me say that I am new to this forum. I have been
looking for answers about my problem, but frankly I do not see a
solution yet.
What happens to me is that I want to download files from the internet
or files were sent to me in my e-mail and everything happens as if it
were a normal, but when you finish downloading when you want to search
in the folder in which guards are not there! Already low that when a
file in the folder windows vista default is''download''but what I mean
is that the file is not saved! I have a solution that we tried in
another forum that it was through the restoration of Internet Explorer
but I do not fix this thing.

I hope actors help! Thank you for your understanding!

Are you saying that you think they are in C:/users/Default/Downloads ?

You should be looking in C:\users\Your Name\Downloads

I already search there but the file isnt there. But this problem is
happening to me just recently. Previously all goes good, I could
download things and all files that i want. But today that i turn on my
computer and I wanted to download something and I could not.
Everything happens as a normal, but when you want to open or look for
the downloaded file in the folder intended for you, not just the file.
(the file isnt there)
It's as if nothing ever would have downloaded!

In advance thanks!

1. Note carefully in the download dialog where the files are going.

2. If you change where files are downloaded (I always download to the
desktop so they are easy to find!) the default is changed.

3. And if that doesn't work, note the filename downloaded and search for
it!
