cruzer USB stick (2G)

I cannot setup a sync partnership on sync center (i am running vista
ultimate). Sync center recognizes the usb stick...but the problem is, when i
go to setup a partnership... WMP automatically opens (end partnership in WMP
and try again with same results). Any help here? I WANT TO SYNC MY USB STICK
TO A FOLDER ON MY COMPUTER (..sort of like a backup). Any help will be much
appreciated.
