Default Configuring updates 3 of 3

HP just walked me through a process using F8 and few additional keystrokes to
restore the computer back to 14Feb (eliminating the 17 Feb Vista automatic
update) Best advice, turn-off the wireless until you have the automatic
updates disabled. Computer is now up and running again...Thanks HP and boo
to Microsoft.

Ah my friend, if it hadn't been for Microsoft creating System Restore then
HP wouldn't have been able to help you ">)

Did You Know That Microsoft Windows Server 2003 And Microsoft Windows Server
2008 Don't Come With Microsoft System Restore? Only The Client Operating
Systems Like ME, XP, And Vista Have Microsoft System Restore, Just FYI.

Well done Kevtard. Administrators would be expected to use an image backup
to restore any server from disaster, and not something as flakey as System
Restore.

I any case, it is very easy to enable System Restore on Windows Server 2003.
It takes about two minutes.
