Try using tick.usno.navy.mil, and see if that one works.

The tick.usno.navy.mil is not one of the options in the list of server sites!
Unless you can tell me how to add it I can't try it.
Thanks!

When a time server that you want to use does not appear in the drop down
list, type it in. It's not apparent but you can enter new text in the
box that is displaying the name of the current time server.

Still no good; even this site shows the same error message!
I tried Atomic Alarm Clock and it won't update the clock either!
It will allow me to use the get time but not the adjust button!

Dave,
Have you checked to make sure that your time zone is correct, and that
your current time is not more than a hour off. This will cause
synchronizing to fail sometimes to.
The clock has been set manually and is within 30 seconds of being right but
the problem still exists!!!

Go to command prompt. enter these commands one by one and press enter.
1. net stop w32time

Try setting time again.
here is a rag key for a few more time servers. paste this command in note
