Default Change Filename Settings for Recorded TV

How do you change the how Media Center names the filenames of TV that you
have recorded. Currently, the filename includes the channel and the date.
However, I just want it to include the TV Series and then the Episode Name.

Sounds like you are doing manual records by channel and time. If you add recordings by program name the files will reflect that.

I have it set up to record every Seinfeld episode on any channel Are you
saying if I tell it to only record Seinfeld on a specific channel, that it
will save the files the way I want?
