Can't install anything in Vista home prem

I was installing the latest version of itunes when i inadvertently
stopped it right before the last bit was installing. Now i can't install
anything. I tried uninstalling quicktime and itunes and then installing
quicktime first. When i try it says "not a windows 32 bit app" and
nothing happens. I tried downloading the msicuu2.exe and installing it
but i get the message it "stopped working". I can't install anything
now. Help:cry:

did you try a system restore to a time before the problem?
